Sorry Bank Account.......

It has been a while since I've done a massive make up haul, since buying myself 2 Michael Kors bags I thought it was time to give the bank card abit of a rest! It has been a while since those purchases were made so I have been begun picking things up here and there.

First off I made a made a MAC order for the Cremesheen Pearl Collection, it had me written all over it! I picked up two lipsticks, "Little Buddah" a bright peachy pink and "Star Magnolia" a bright carnation pink. I also picked up two of the cremesheen lipglasses in "Floating Locus" and "Partial To Pink". Both lipglasses are pretty similar except one has a slight silver iridescent to it.

Next I made a cheeky Selfridges haul, I vowed to myself that I'd only ever get the Charlotte Tlbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow or any Tom Ford lipsticks unless it was to treat myself if I truly deserved them, I didn't deserve them at all, I just wanted them, end off. Ha! The 3 Tom Ford lipsticks I picked up were, "Blush Nude" "Pink Tease" and "Vanilla Suede"

When I saw the advertising of the new Urban Decay Smoky Palette, I wasn't interested at all, I'm more of a neutral girl when it comes to eyes yet for some reason I couldn't help but get it, was it the hype? Was it the buzz of getting it before it sold out? I have no idea! But saying that, since having it I have used it almost every day. Full review if wanted, just ask! At the same time of picking it up I also picked up the much hyped about Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

Back to Selfridges I went a couple of weeks later for literally just a beauty blender. I went to Spain in July and since being back my skin has been so dry that I cannot wear foundation without it looking cakey. The beauty blender is something I have never thought of buying, to me it was an overpriced sponge that wasn't any better than drugstore dupes, (I have the RT version, p.s not a fan.) Anyway, as you do more and more gets added to your basket, I also picked up Illamasquas Pigment in Androgen which is highly recommended by LLYMLRS. I also got a Bobbi Brown Corrector, an old favourite of mine and a Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pale Pink.

Then it was pay day and the huge splurge from MAC came. I've never been a lip pencil kinda gal but the MAC lip liners are so highly spoken about I decided to pick up....5. I picked up, "Rosy Rim" a muted rosy pink, "Hip N Happy" a bright barbie pink, "Naked Liner" a light nude, "Edge To Edge" a dirty blue pink and finally I got "Boldy Bare" a reddish brown.
Another pencil product I picked up was an Eye Kohl in Fascinating, a simple white pencil for my waterline. Staying with eyes I also picked up a Paint Pot in Painterly, the perfect all over colour that matches my skin perfectly.
Whilst in the MAC store I spotted a LE lipstick in "Real Doll" I loved the muted barbie pink everyday colour so much that I bought 3, yes 3!  I also decided to try out the Prep & Prime Highlighter in Light Boost as I had heard it being mentioned quite frequently. And lastly I picked up 2 brushes, the 239 and the 188

Then I ended up in Boots......I needed a new Gimme Brow so that was picked up straight away but whilst waiting by the til I noticed Rockateur blush. I've never been interested in the Benefit Boxed Blushes due to the packaging but the shade was too gorgeous to leave behind so oops there we have it I bought that aswell!

And lastly, my local shopping centre has FINALLY got a Yankee Candles store, hip hip hooray! I decided on, Snow In Love, Pink Dragon Fruit and Salted Caramel. And there you have it, my ridiculous collective haul.

If there is anything you would like a full review on just let me know.
What was your last purchase?

12 Products I Will Forever Repurchase

There aren't many products I continue to repurchase once I've ran out of it as I love to try new products but obviously along the way there are some things I always find myself going back to. Some things mentioned are already repurchases and others are products that I genuinely love so I know that in the future they will become a repurchase. Enough babbling, lets dive straight in.

1. The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil - I have lost count how many bottles of this stuff I have bought but a rough guess would be 5, yes 5! I've spoken about this cleanser a number of times and I'm not the only one. Since finding this product taking off make up is so simple and quick, a couple of pumps does the whole face including eye make up. Before I tried a cleansing oil I was sceptical, I thought I'd be left with oily skin and was pleasantly surprised with the result, smooth soft skin without that horrible layer of yuckiness that some cleansers leave. At £10 a bottle which lasts a good few months, this is a steal!

2. Estee Lauder Double Wear - You are probably thinking "Oh she isn't talking about THAT foundation again is she?!" yes sorry I am! I've stuck to this foundation for at least 2 years now just because it does everything I want a foundation to do. I decided a few months ago I was going to try a couple of new foundations, and I did but they just wasn't as good as my old trusty DW.

3. Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - For the longest time I had struggled to find the perfect setting powder, all the ones I was trying either make me look cakey or just didn't work at all. The skin finish was hyped all around blogs and Youtube videos and I finally decided to try it for myself. How can a setting powder be so wonderful? I don't know but this one seriously is. It goes on like a dream, it isn't noticeable and if I do need to top up, it doesn't go cakey. Love love love!

4. Benefit Porefessional - A smoothing primer is a must for me, I can't stand those ones that feel tacky. The main reason why I keep repurchasing the Porefessional is because I love the way foundation looks on top of it. It claims it minimizes the look of pores, I honestly see no difference but the texture is a win for me.

5. Urban Decay Naked Concealer - Ask me a few months ago and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer  would have been mentioned but since trying the UD Naked Concealer, the Nars as been forgotten about. If I'm honest the 2 concealers are pretty similar but the UD one isn't as creamy as the Nars meaning it lasts a lot longer. I've seen alot of people complain about the colour range of the Urban Decay Naked Concealer but the shade I chose is perfect for me.

6. Anastasia Brow Wiz - Shocked? No I didn't think so. I've tried quite a few eye brow products but this is the one I keep going back to. As the name suggests, it makes doing brows so quick and effortless. I love how natural the Brow Wiz looks too. I'm not particularly perfect at doing my eyebrows but using this makes it so much more easier.

7. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude - For years I had always used a white pencil in my water line not realising how fake and harsh it actually looked until I started to use a nude colour instead. The texture of the Rimmel Eyeliner is reason why I don't try out any other nude pencil. I love how soft and creamy it is so it's comfortable to apply. It also has a gel like feel to it meaning it lasts a lot longer than an ordinary pencil would.

8. Bourjois Volume Clubbing mascara - Mascara is one of those things that I've given up trying highend versions of, no matter the price I find drugstore mascaras do exactly the same thing. The one mascara I find myself keep coming back to is the Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara, as the name suggests the volume the mascara gives is incredible! It lasts all day without flaking off or smudging at all.

9. Avene Soothing Hydrating Serum - I was never one to apply serum before my make up due to thinking it would leave my face feeling too greasy and that my make up wouldn't last. I was sent this serum and was recommended to put it on in my morning routine, I was hesitant at first but was actually surprised at how much of a difference it made. Although the name suggests it's an night time serum it is really light and works perfectly for mornings, it really preps skin for foundation and helps things look more flawless.

10. Illamasqua Cream Pigment In Hollow - I have recently gotten into cream products and was after a cream contour, I have heard so many good things about this pigment that I just had to try it. I have used this everyday since purchasing it, I love how natural it looks and it blends beautifully!

11. Mac fix + - I had this in my collection for the longest time but had never used it until one day I had a cakeyness overload so I decided to try it and I couldn't believe how well it fixed my face. It has now become an everyday staple for me even if my make up doesn't look cakey it still improves how my base looks and I couldn't be without it. If you can tell in the above picture the bottle is actually empty but I have already ordered another bottle, this time the full version.

12. Mac Snob Lipstick - Again, another product I have rambled on about a zillion times! Most probably the perfect every day lipstick of all time? I love how different this lipstick is, it isn't bright yet isn't a nude. I find this lipstick gives an extra oomph to your look without being too OTT.

So there you have it, the products I couldn't live without. What are you favourite products?

My Favourite MAC Products

Looking through my make up collection the other day I realised that the brand that kept popping up was MAC. Whenever I'm looking for a certain product MAC is usually where I find myself first. When branching out to more higher end brands MAC is a good stepping stone, not too expensive but not cheap plus, the colour range is incredible! So here are my top 10 Mac products.

1. Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Having combination skin is one of my struggles in life, trying to find the perfect balance between hydrating and mattifying my skin can be an issue but since finding this powder, life has changed! I've mentioned the Mineralize Skin Finish plenty of times before so I wont babble on but the finish of this is just damn right beautiful! It leaves your make up looking not too matte so you wont be left with a cakey flat face yet controls the oil all day. Holy grail right there.

2. Pink Freeze Eyeshadow - I was on the hunt for an Icy coloured eyeshadow with an iridescent pink sheen to it. I googled for swatches of this shade and fell in love yet on Macs website it's described as a "bright pink". I took a chance and decided to purchase this anyway. Luckily when it arrived it was exactly what I was looking for. I find this such an unique shade and love it for everyday use.

3. Florabundance Lipglass - Lip glasses are usually the least hyped about product due to the stickiness to them but personally I quite enjoy it. Florabundance is a gorgeous peachy pink that looks lovely alone or paired with a nude lipstick

4. Pure Zen Lipstick - Pure Zen is a new one to my collection that I have wanted for ages and already has made it's way in to my handbag for on the go. I find this shade so easy to pop on during the day, no mirror is required. A lovely light pink that will go with any make up look.

5. Lovelorn - Oh look another lipstick, oops! Lovelorn reminds me slightly of Snob as in it's not bright yet not nude, I love this when my make up is looking a bit dull, it just adds that something special. Being a cremesheen formula this also adds moisture to the lips, bonus!

6. So Sweet, So Easy Blush - I've never been into cream blush, the whole concept of cream on top of powder kind of scared me but I thought I'd give it a go and to my surprise I actually loved it. So Sweet So Easy is a bright pink that gives a beautiful natural flushed look. Since trying this blush I've been converted, I love how dewy cream blush looks compared to a powder.

7. 217 Blending Brush - Possibly the most famous brush ever, everyone talks about it! When you hear people say that this brush does the blending for you, they're correct. Holy grail brush, so much so, I have 3!

8. Pro Longwear Concealer - Trying to find a full coverage concealer that I could highlight with was proving to be nearly impossible until someone recommended this to me. I got the shade NC15 which is the lightest and let me tell you, this stuff is amazing! With it being high coverage I thought it would be thick in texture and crease during the day but in fact it does the opposite with it's thin consistency it looks freshly applied all day.

9. Mineralize Skin Finish Lightscapade - Finding a highlighter that suits my skintone is pretty hard, I find that golden champagne tones look really odd on me and the light silver colours look much better. Most people love Soft And Gentle and although I do, Lightscapade is such a better match for me. I'm not a fan of glittery or high shimmer highlighters either but this one sits somewhere just perfect between a shimmer and a glow.

10. Nylon Eyeshadow - Another go to eyeshadow is Nylon, a pale icy shimmer shade that looks gorgeous with loads of mascara. I find this shade really opens my eyes and makes them look alot bigger than they are. This also works perfectly as an inner corner highlight.
